			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>How Google index text embedded in Adobe Flash?</strong></p>
<p>In this experiment we will try to figure out can and how Google index content inside the Adobe Flash .swf file.<br />
Experiment will provide us with answers to 6 questions?</p>
<ol>
<li>Can Google recognize text in static text field?</li>
<li>Can Google recognize embedded text in dynamic field?</li>
<li>Can Google recognize dynamic text inserted via variable?</li>
<li>Can Google index dynamic text inserted via instance name?</li>
<li>What will happen if we assign some text to a variable but not show that text on the stage?</li>
<li>What will happen if we add some nice content in ActionScript and make it commented?</li>
</ol>
<p><em>Experiment is created with Adobe Flash CS3 and published for Flash Player 9 and ActionScript 2.0</em></p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="609" height="400" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="name" value="experiment1" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="align" value="middle" /><param name="src" value="http://www.flashnseo.com/nancy/nancy.swf" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="609" height="400" src="http://www.flashnseo.com/nancy/nancy.swf" align="middle" bgcolor="#ffffff" name="experiment1"></embed></object></p>
<p><strong><em>January 5th</em></strong></p>
<p>After few months of waiting we have good results!<br />
#1 Yes Google can index static text fields:<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;q=site%3Aflashnseo.com+%E2%80%9Ctext+1+in+static+field%E2%80%9D&#038;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Link to static content</a><br />
#2 Yes Google can index static text in dynamic text fields:<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;q=site%3Aflashnseo.com+%E2%80%9Ctext+2+in+dynamic+field%E2%80%9D&#038;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Link to static content</a><br />
#3 Yes!<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;q=site%3Aflashnseo.com+%E2%80%9Cdynamic+text+inserted+via+variable%E2%80%9D&#038;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Link to dynamic content</a><br />
#4 Hell Yes!<a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;q=site%3Aflashnseo.com+%E2%80%9Cdynamic+text+inserted+via+instance+name%E2%80%9D&#038;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Link to dynamic content</a><br />
#5 This is really good. Google is not showing text that is used in variables but not displayed on the staga!<br />
<code>_root.fake1 = "fake text 1";<br />
</code><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;q=site%3Aflashnseo.com+%E2%80%9Cfake+text+1%E2%80%9D&#038;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Link to non used content</a><br />
#6 This is really good. Google is not showing text that is used in variables but not displayed on the staga!<br />
<code>fake2.text = "fake text 2";<br />
</code><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&#038;hl=en&#038;q=site%3Aflashnseo.com+%E2%80%9Cfake+text+2%E2%80%9D&#038;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Link to non used content</a></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In this cool experiment we will try to figure out what is the current status of indexing xml content that is loaded into Adobe Flash.</p>
<ol>
<li>Can our favorite search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) index content that is loaded from XML?</li>
<li>Will they follow links that are inside XML?</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Can Google and Yahoo follow link in Adobe Flash?</p>
<p>Hm, hm <img src='http://www.flashnseo.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>We will try to discover:</p>
<ol>
<li>What will happen if we add link somewhere in text field?</li>
<li>What will happen if we make whole text field as a link?</li>
<li>Can Google and Yahoo follow and index pages that have on(press) ActionScript?</li>
<li>What about function that have getURL ActionScript?</li>
<li>What will happen with commented getURL?</li>
</ol>
<p><em>Experiment is created with Adobe Flash CS3 and published for Flash Player 9 and ActionScript 2.0</em></p>
<p><object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="609" height="400" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0"><param name="name" value="marina" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#ffffff" /><param name="align" value="middle" /><param name="src" value="http://www.flashnseo.com/marina/marina.swf" /><embed type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="609" height="400" src="http://marina.flashnseo.com/marina.swf" align="middle" bgcolor="#ffffff" name="marina"></embed></object><br />
<br />
<strong>November 15th</strong><br />
On time line we added ActionScript function that calls GetURL function with our test URL.<br />
<code><br />
function functiontest(){<br />
        getURL("**our testing URL**", "_blank");<br />
}<br />
</code><br />
I was surprised today when I saw that Google indexed our test page even if we didn&#8217;t called our test function.<br />
It looks that this can be good way to add all pages that you want to be followed from Adobe Flash.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[Can Google index Flash created with JavaScript Object?]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There is a lots of rumors that Google starts indexing of Adobe Flash files that are created with great JavaScript <a href="http://blog.deconcept.com/swfobject/" target="_blank">SWFObject</a>.</p>
<p>In a case that you are not using SWFObject here is short official explanation of library use:</p>
<p>&#8220;SWFObject is a small Javascript file used for embedding Adobe Flash content. The script can detect the Flash plug-in in all major web browsers (on Mac and PC) and is designed to make embedding Flash movies as easy as possible. It is also very search engine friendly, degrades gracefully, can be used in valid HTML and XHTML 1.0 documents, and is forward compatible, so it should work for years to come.&#8221;</p>
<p>Code example:<br />
<code><br />
&lt;script type="text/javascript" src="swfobject.js"&gt;&lt;/script&gt;</p>
<p>&lt;div id="flashcontent"&gt;<br />
  This text is replaced by the Flash movie.<br />
&lt;/div&gt;</p>
<p>&lt;script type="text/javascript"&gt;<br />
   var so = new SWFObject("movie.swf", "mymovie", "400", "200", "8", "#336699");<br />
   so.write("flashcontent");<br />
&lt;/script&gt;<br />
</code><br />
Lets reveal that mystery&#8230;</p>
<p><em>Experiment is created with Adobe Flash CS3 and published for Flash Player 9 and ActionScript 2.0</em></p>
<div id="swfdiv">flash will go here</div>
<p><script type="text/javascript"><!--
                   var so = new SWFObject("http://www.flashnseo.com/zocca/zocca.swf", "swfdiv", "609", "400", "8");
                   so.addParam("wmode", "transparent");
	           so.write("swfdiv");
// --></script><br />
<strong>November 13th</strong></p>
<p>Finally we have some news and I am glad that news is good!<img class="wp-smiley" src="http://www.flashnseo.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /><br />
Google just indexed content of .swf file that is generated with JavaScript Object script.<br />
<a href="http://www.google.com/search?num=100&amp;hl=en&amp;q=site%3Awww.flashnseo.com+%22flash+indexing+and+JavaScript+SWFObject%22&amp;btnG=Search" target="_blank">Here you can list</a> indexed flash file.</p>
